Wine enthusiast : 95/100 This wine comes from the highest point of the Bégude estate, a 1,200-foot elevation overlooking the Mediterranean. Wood aged and offering spiciness as well as acidity and red fruits, the wine is almost entirely produced from structured Mourvèdre. Tannins and perfumes partner with the intensely juicy fruits. Drink this wine from 2022.
Decanter : 97/100 Platinum Complexe nose with deep black berry fruits, spice and hints of polish. Really lovely texture with layers of creamy red and black fruits, spices and powerful but super fine tannins. Great expression of the appellation; powerfully long.
Bettane & Desseauve : 97/100 Spectacular and complete, this specific lieu- dit is an accomplished terroir wine, magnificently dense and energetic, with that distinctive aromatic signature that gives it so much breed. In ten years’ time, this bottle will be grandiose.
