Tasting Notes
Beautiful deep colour with hints of violet. Rich, complex nose with floral notes, black olive, garrigue and pepper. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, full-bodied and generous, with well-balanced stone fruit. The tannins are well coated and an elegant acidity enhances the structure. The finish is long and complex, with tertiary notes of light tobacco, cedar and eucalyptus.

Guide Hachette des Vins 2023 : 2 étoiles "Classicism has its virtues, and these are brilliantly illustrated in this Bandol, dominated by the king of Mourvèdre (90%). In the glass, a wine still in the making, initially quiet, then more forthcoming with aeration, delivering aromas of macerated red fruit, peony and leather. The palate is full-bodied, with elegant tannins that are firm and long, backed by fine, liquorice-like oak that ennobles the finish. A wine that will certainly keep well.

RVF : 92/100 "To our great delight, this cuvée is much more enveloped than previous vintages. The fruit is all the more lively and sincere, representative of a fine Bandol classic. The concentration of the vintage is handled with a certain tact. A fine bottle for laying down.
